simplecall business announces 'business phone scrappage scheme offer' to SMEs

LONDON - simplecall business, a subsidiary of Zamir Telecom, is a non-governmental entity that announced today a new offer, called the 'business phone scrappage scheme,' whereby businesses can 'scrap' their old phones and upgrade to modern IP telephony for free with no upfront costs.

The upgrade, which can add up to as much as £5000 worth of free hardware, comes with a guarantee of lower monthly telephone bills and added functionality to increase office productivity. Any business with a monthly bill of £200 or more can qualify for the scrappage scheme.


MIT and Zamir Telecom announce fellowship for the Sloan School of Management MBA program

Zamir Telecom, an established telco in the carrier market, announced the details of its new MBA fellowship program it has developed with the MIT Sloan School of Management on Thursday 16th January 2014.

The Zamir Telecom Fellowship will fund two promising professionals from the technology sector studying in Sloan’s MBA program. The $25,000 per fellow grant will be offered annually to applicants from an emerging economy (Africa, Asia or the Middle East) or to those from other countries who have an interest in technological advancement in these areas.

Zamir Telecom today announced details of its new MBA scholarship programme developed with the Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford in the UK.

The Zamir Telecom MBA Scholarship will fund one scholarship annually (valued at £15,000) for a promising young professional from the technology sector. It is open to applicants from Africa, Asia or the Middle East - or to those from other countries who have an interest in technological advancement in these regions.

Naufal Zamir To Be Keynote Speaker at British Bangladeshi Who's Who 2013 Gala in London

This is the second year in a row that Naufal has spoken at the annual event that plays host to some of influential members of the British Bangladeshi community. WTL chosen by Zamir Telecom to improve VoIP service between London and Bangladesh

World Telecom Labs (WTL) today announced that Zamir Telecom is using its specialist VoIP optimisation equipment to improve the service on its London to Dhaka route.

Zamir’s London to Dhaka managed VoIP service runs on a dedicated fibre link with traffic peaking at around 20 million minutes a day. Zamir has deployed WTL’s specialist VoIP switches at either end of its VoIP link to improve the quality of calls, ensure that the network is always available and to optimise Zamir’s bandwidth capacity without compromising voice quality.

This is not the first time Mr Zamir, a British Bangladeshi entrepreneur, has been recognised as an influential member of the Bangladeshi community in the UK. He was named among the British Bangladeshi Who’s Who in October 2012 and, in 2011, was named in the British Bangladeshi Power 100.
